Our educators are a team of dedicated Early Childhood teachers who work hard to ensure that every child and their family is made to feel welcome and a valued part of our Rose Bay family. We are a small 40 place long day care service that caters to the needs of all children and families from 6 weeks to school age, inclusive of a school readiness program.
We welcome family input, recognising families as the most significant people in the lives of the children, and that in order to provide the best quality care and education setting for children we must collaborate and communicate with families. Developing these partnerships allows us to implement a child focused curriculum, based on the children’s interests that cater for the development of the whole child, inspiring a love for learning.
Our educators represent many cultures and nationalities and are able to speak a number of different languages. We value Diversity, respect and inclusion and celebrate the history, culture and future of all families.
We provide all meals inclusive of hot lunches and dinners and have an amazing Italian cook able to adapt our menu for any special dietary requirements. Our fees are all-inclusive and include an Early Childhood Education Curriculum, extra-curricular activities, transition to school and readiness program for preschool aged children, qualified Early Childhood Professionals, all meals, milk, formula, nappies and sunscreen.
Our 2 to 5 years playground features a small climbing wall, natural slide, cobblestone bike track and a sandpit with natural sandstone boulders and a bridge to define it. These natural spaces and materials help children to connect with nature, nurture imagination and provide the challenges and ‘safe’ risks necessary for development. We also have a large covered deck area which allows for indoor and outdoor play and investigation.
Our separate 0 to 2’s outdoor space features a sandpit and covered verandah. Our space is designed with nature in mind and ensures that all elements within the environment reflect natural resources to foster children’s sense of discovery, investigation and promote engagement with their surroundings.
