Clyde St Service Coordinator
I have worked in Early Childhood Education since I was 16 years old. I have always wanted to be a teacher and have loved working with children, families and learning from other educators. I have been working with Active Kids Group for 9 years now and have loved every minute. I started as an educator in a room, was given the opportunity to work alongside the Operations Managers, and was then presented with the opportunity to become the centre’s coordinator at Active Kids Group newest addition, Clyde Street.
After leaving school I studied my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education (Birth – 5 years) and now hold a Degree in Early Childhood Education. I have learnt many things on my journey to achieve this, however I am so grateful that Active Kids Group was able to give me the opportunities to flourish in my passion. The people I have been working with for the past 9 years have built such a fantastic and inspiring culture that I feel so privileged to be apart of.
I am passionate about providing children with quality education and care as I believe these are the most crucial years of development in children’s lives. It is incredibly inspiring and rewarding watching and assisting children achieve milestones during this time.
When I am not at work, I love to be outdoors, I enjoy going on long walks, going to the gym and being with friends and family.
I am so grateful to be working with Active Kids Group and can not wait to see what else the future holds for me within AKG.
