Rhonda’s Cottage is an Early Childhood Centre in a quaint heritage listed cottage. It is located in the leafy streets of the Harbour-side suburb of Cremorne. Rhonda’s Cottage is just minutes’ walk from amenities such as cafes, shopping centre’s, medical centre’s and public transport. We cater for 29 children per day which allows us to create a personal family atmosphere. With the values of trust, love and safety embedded into the daily running of our centre, Rhonda’s Cottage is dedicated to delivering high quality care and providing an environment that truly feels like a home away from home for your child.
Our centre is separated into the following rooms:
0 to 2 years – Nursery Room
2 to 3 years – Toddler Room
3 to 5 years – Preschool Room
We have two separate outdoor environments where the children can be amongst nature. The outdoor play spaces are surrounded by lush foliage such as our beautiful Jacaranda trees creating a natural organic environment for the children to explore.
Our passionate and experienced Early Childhood educators are committed to encouraging each child’s individuality and providing a holistic approach to children’s learning and development. Our educators provide a stimulating curriculum that promotes our belief that children are unique and capable learners. We strive to empower them to take challenges and to pursue a lifelong passion for learning.
As families are the most significant people in our children’s’ lives, we pride ourselves on creating meaningful relationships with families and encouraging them to contribute and participate within our curriculum. We believe that combining these relationships with our local community allows us to provide an environment for the children to thrive to their full potential.
Cathy Oosterman “We have both our boys at Rhonda’s Cottage and absolutely love it! The centre is well set up and has a lovely big outdoor area but it’s really the people that make it so special. All of the staff are so warm and friendly and genuinely care so much for the children, and it shows with how much the kids love them back. I couldn’t recommend Rhondas highly enough!”
Olivia Wokes “My son James loves going to Rhonda’s Cottage. He is stimulated with educational activities, a balanced timetable which meets his needs for play, rest and socialisation. Best of all is the culture of caring relationships, the children are encouraged to be caring and social and all the carers are very kind, attentive and treat James like a family member. The daily photo updates throughout the day are a highlight. Rhonda’s Cottage is like a family home and I’d readily recommend it to everyone”
Ana & Fer “Our son Beni has been attending Rhonda’s Cottage now for 6 months and we couldn’t be any happier. The staff is extremely caring and they look after him as if he was their own. We love to see the photos of Beni playing, singing, dancing, and doing art while he is at the center. I can see how much he loves to attend. We are so happy to be part of Rhonda’s Cottage family”
