Meet Teghan

With over 15 years in Early Childhood Education, I’ve been lucky enough to spend my career doing what I truly love — helping little learners grow, thrive, and discover the world around them. I started out at 18 with my Certificate III in Children’s Services and quickly knew this was more than just a job — it was my lifelong passion. Since then, I’ve completed my Diploma in Children’s Services and my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which has given me the chance not only to teach children but also to mentor and inspire other educators.

I’ve worked across all age groups, from babies to preschoolers, and since joining Active Kids Group in 2016, I’ve stepped into Coordinator roles at Rhonda’s Cottage and now Bondi. For me, the most rewarding part of my role is building strong, genuine connections with families. I believe that understanding the “whole child” starts with understanding their family, and I love creating a space where everyone feels welcome and supported.

Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me outdoors, whether it’s bushwalking, snorkelling, paddle boarding, or swimming. I’m also a big believer that travel is one of the best investments in life — it’s the one thing you spend money on that makes you richer in experiences and perspective.

Active Kids Bondi is an early learning centre which is proudly rated Exceeding the National Quality Standard. Produly serving the Bondi community since 2015, we are located in a quiet cul-de-sac just a short walk from the world-famous Bondi Beach. Our Bondi location is open Monday to Friday from 7.00am – 6.00pm.

Active Kids Bondi has wonderful outdoor environments that are natural and spacious which offers stimulating learning experiences for each child.

Each age group has their own outdoor area including a roof top play area for our Preschoolers. Our Indoor environments are well lit with natural light, and our facility is full of natural resources. Our team of strong, experienced, and highly qualified educators take pride in supporting each child to unlock their potential and passion for learning.
