Strong Family & School Partnerships
We believe children flourish when families and educators work together. Parents are invited to be part of planning, reflections, and school transition activities, while our close partnerships with local schools ensure children feel familiar and supported as they step into kindergarten.
Growing Social & Emotional Skills
Preschool is a vital time for developing resilience, self-confidence, and positive relationships. We design experiences that encourage children to take on leadership roles, practise problem-solving, work collaboratively, and manage their emotions—skills that will serve them long after their first day of school.
Inspiring Environments
Our preschool rooms are thoughtfully designed with natural materials, project corners, and open-ended resources that encourage curiosity and creativity. Outdoor play continues to be a cornerstone of learning, giving children space to build physical confidence, explore nature, and enjoy active play.

Active minds, ready for tomorrow
Discover Our Preschool Program
At Active Kids Group, our preschool rooms are where children expand their world, where curiosity grows into deeper thinking, independence is encouraged, and readiness for school begins to take shape. Our program is purpose-built for this crucial age, offering children the support and guidance they need to transition confidently into kindergarten.
EXPERT-GUIDED LEARNING
Our preschool program is led by university-qualified Early Childhood Teachers, holding the same credentials as those in council-operated preschools. In addition to their training, our educators engage in ongoing professional development and are guided by the work of renowned theorists such as Jean Piaget (cognitive development), Lev Vygotsky (social constructivism and social interaction), and Erik Erikson (psychosocial development). This ensures children experience research-based, forward-looking learning that builds strong foundations for school and beyond.
Children’s Services and my Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which has given me the chance not only to teach children but also to mentor and inspire other educators.
I’ve worked across all age groups, from babies to preschoolers, and since joining Active Kids Group in 2016, I’ve stepped into Coordinator roles at Rhonda’s Cottage and now Bondi. For me, the most rewarding part of my role is building strong, genuine connections with families. I believe that understanding the “whole child” starts with understanding their family, and I love creating a space where everyone feels welcome and supported.
Outside of work, you’ll most likely find me outdoors, whether it’s bushwalking, snorkelling, paddle boarding, or swimming. I’m also a big believer that travel is one of the best investments in life — it’s the one thing you spend money on that makes you richer in experiences and perspective.

A DAY THAT REFLECTS SCHOOL (WITH FLEXIBILITY)
We offer a structured 9:00 am – 3:00 pm routine that mirrors the rhythm of a school day, while still offering extended hours for working families. This balance helps children adapt to school-like routines; group times, learning blocks, meal breaks, and independent work periods—while still enjoying the flexibility and warmth of long day care.

Personalised transition booklets created with educators and families to introduce each child to their new teacher.
-
Graduation Ceremony to celebrate their achievements and mark the beginning of their next big adventure
Funded Support
We provide a preschool program that exceeds government standards while offering the flexibility modern families need. With extended hours, healthy meals, and guidance to help you make the most of your Child Care Subsidy (CCS), we ensure preschool is both accessible and convenient. As a Start Strong funded service, eligible families may receive up to $2,174 in fee relief for children aged 4 and $515 for children aged 3.
Curriculum with Purpose
Our preschool curriculum is grounded in the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and supported by current research in early childhood development. Educators design learning experiences that intentionally connect children’s interests with key domains of development, including emergent literacy, early numeracy, STEM inquiry, and the creative arts.
Through systematic observation, documentation, and reflection, educators track progress, identify emerging strengths, and adapt programs to extend each child’s learning. This evidence-informed approach ensures that children are not only engaged but are also developing the cognitive, social, and problem-solving skills required for a successful transition to formal schooling.
ARRIVAL & BREAKFAST
Children are greeted by their educators and served breakfast. Once their meal is finished, children are engaged with indoor play.
