Wholesome & Seasonal Nutrition
Our dedicated chefs create seasonal menus each week, which are shared on centre noticeboards and conveniently available through the OWNA app. Every menu is thoughtfully designed to offer variety and can be adapted to meet the unique needs of each child. Developed in collaboration with medical and paediatric nutrition specialists, our meals are aligned with Nutrition Australia’s national guidelines to support healthy growth and development.
Through our weekly rotating menu, Active Kids Group ensures the consistent use of fresh, seasonal fruits and vegetables. We are committed to catering for children with food allergies, dietary requirements, and cultural or religious preferences, providing safe and inclusive meal options for all.
Our nutrition approach is age-appropriate, with special attention given to children aged 0–2 years. All hard fruits and vegetables are gently parboiled, while meals and snacks are mashed or pureed as required. Additionally, new foods are only introduced once they have been offered at home on at least three occasions, ensuring both safety and familiarity for young children.
