Active Kids Narwee Preschool has been operating in the area for over 25 years, it is a 10 minute walk from Narwee train station and a public bus stop is also conveniently located in front of the child care centre. Our centre coordinator, Kristine, has been part of the AKG family for over 21 years.
Our preschool educators in Narwee understand that Early Learning occurs in environments where children feel safe, secure and protected. Active Kids Narwee ensures your child and family will be supported in these special early years. Our educators are passionate and highly trained Early Learning professionals whose vision is to ensure that all children feel safe and secure in their learning environments to maximum opportunities in their early years.
Our child care centre believes that communication is the key to any partnership, educators communicate with families on their child’s daily routine, development and family life.
Our educators have a sound understanding of the EYLF, which equals to meaningful play-based experiences for all children that will extend and challenge their learnings.

Pets
Our childcare service at Narwee has two pet chickens. Every morning children collect freshly laid eggs from our chicken coop. Families, children and educators are welcome to take home some freshly laid eggs to use in their cooking at home.

Fitness at the Park
Our daycare utilises the park next door to our service (John Mountford Reserve) for Learn and Grow Fitness classes. Children venture on nature walks throughout the park to source natural resources for their craft experiences.

Environmental Sustainability
At Active Kids Narwee we have a recycling station for families to donate recyclable items. We support initiatives such as the Nespresso Recycling program and our childcare also implements the six green steps program.

Excursions
We have fortnightly excursions to Riverwood Library for preschool story time and to utilise library resources. Our childcare service also visits our local Coles Roselands supermarket to recycle Coles bags through the Redcycle Initiative.

Health & Wellbeing
Our childcare service provides opportunities for children to learn more about their dental health through annual visits from the dentist where children receive dental checkups and participate in dental education program.

Spacious Outdoor Environments
Our childcare has a large spacious natural environment that provides stimulating experiences in order to further support each child’s individual development.
