There's onsite parking, which makes drop off and pick up a lot smoother, and we're open Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. We care for children from 8 weeks to 6 years old, so many families stay with us from their first days of daycare right through to big school.

A day at our Homebush West centre: We love the outdoors

Picture large, open classrooms in a newly renovated space, built for exploring and working together. Outside, the pirate ship playground is the star of the show, where adventures are planned, treasure is buried and crews are formed daily.

Then there are the spaces you don't usually find in a daycare.

Our Tiny Chef classroom is a child-sized kitchen where little learners practise cooking and build independence along the way. The herb garden gives children a hands-on way to learn about nature and sustainability. There's a purpose-built Kindy Gym for building movement and confidence, and a yoga and mindfulness studio for the moments that call for calm.

Food is covered too. Our onsite chef prepares five fresh meals a day: breakfast, morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

Nappies, formula, sunscreen and wipes are included, and you'll get real-time updates through the OWNA app, so you can see how your child's day is going while you're at work. Each week, children also enjoy Learn & Grow classes in fitness, dance, drama, language and STEM, plus excursions for every age group.

Ready for big school

For families with a preschooler, the transition to primary school can feel like a big step. Our dedicated School Readiness Program helps children build the skills and confidence they'll need, and our school liaison program with Homebush West Public School supports a smoother move into Kindergarten.

Once your child starts school, we're still here. Active Kids Homebush offers before and after school care for families of Homebush West Public School, as well as Vacation Care for school-aged children, with activities, excursions and holiday fun.
